Yacht guardianage afloat is more than keeping an eye on things: it is what stops a worn mooring line or a slow ingress from becoming an expensive failure. Regular visits at the agreed frequency, inspection of mooring lines and fenders, checks on shore connections and levels, examination of visible water ingress, and a record of general condition. Anything unusual is reported to you immediately, with photographs. Winterisation follows the same logic: preparing the vessel before the quiet season rather than repairing it in spring. We cover the ports between Cannes and Monaco daily.
A sleeping boat is not a protected boat
Incidents happen precisely during the months when nobody visits the port: a mooring line that chafes and parts in the first blow, a fender that shifts and lets the hull touch the quay, a bilge pump with a jammed float switch, a charger cooking the batteries. None of these is dramatic; all are expensive when discovered in spring.
Regular visits, at the frequency you choose
We come aboard at the agreed frequency — weekly, fortnightly or monthly — and after every significant weather event. Checks cover mooring lines and their wear at chafe points, the position and condition of fenders, shore connections, fluid levels, bilge pump operation and battery condition.
Inspection of visible underwater areas
We examine the waterline and the submerged areas visible from the quay: fouling, shellfish, antifouling condition, anode wastage. This monitoring allows a haul-out to be scheduled at the right moment rather than discovered as urgent.
Winterisation afloat
On the French Riviera, wintering afloat is possible all year round, provided the vessel is prepared: protection of water systems, draining of vulnerable points, ventilation of interior volumes, frost protection for exposed installations, charge management. We draw up the list of operations according to your vessel and the date you intend to use her again.
A report after every visit
Each visit is documented in your client area, with photographs. You know what has been checked and the condition of your boat, without having to travel.
Where we operate
We are present daily from Cannes to Monaco — Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Antibes, Nice, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Menton — and travel further afield by arrangement. Yacht watch can be taken on its own or built into a monthly Care Plan.
