French Riviera - Riviera

Repair, Technical & Maintenance

Yacht repair on the French Riviera leaves no room for improvisation: a breakdown in high season means a cancelled trip. We work alongside your berth, from Toulon to Sanremo, with no need to haul out or book a yard slot. Engine diagnostics, electrical and hydraulic systems, overhaul and emergency response are all carried out afloat, so the vessel stays available between passages. Our engineers know the access constraints of Port Vauban, the Vieux Port in Cannes and Port Hercule — knowledge that matters as much as technical skill when a deadline has to be met.

Repair, Technical & Maintenance

A breakdown is settled faster when the boat stays in the water

Most technical work requires neither a lift nor a yard slot. A starter motor that struggles, a cooling circuit running hot, a temperamental bilge pump, a switchboard that keeps tripping: these are handled alongside, usually within the day. That is the principle behind our repair service on the French Riviera — we come to you, diagnose on site, and involve a yard only when it is genuinely necessary.

Engine diagnostics, inboard and outboard

We work on diesel and petrol engines alike, shaft drive as well as sterndrive. Diagnosis begins with fault codes where the electronics allow, then physical checks: compression, fuel circuit, filtration, raw water pump impeller and housing, anode condition, shaft alignment and play. We explain what we find before committing to a single part.

Electrical and hydraulic systems

On board, electrical faults rarely originate in the device that has stopped working but in what feeds it: terminals oxidised by salt air, poor earth returns, tired battery switches, chargers set for the wrong battery technology. We work back up the circuit rather than replacing the component at the end of it. On the hydraulic side we handle power steering, trim tabs, passerelles and thrusters: leak tracing, bleeding, top-up and hose inspection.

Preventive maintenance and service records

A breakdown always costs more than a service. We set a schedule with you based on engine hours and actual use rather than a theoretical rhythm: oil changes, filters, belts, anodes, impellers, torque checks. Every intervention is logged, which documents the vessel’s upkeep over time and counts at resale.

Refit and major works

When time out of the water becomes unavoidable, we coordinate the trades and supervise the yard on your behalf: selecting contractors, scheduling, checking the work, reporting regularly. You keep a single point of contact from quotation to relaunch.

Where we operate

We are present daily from Cannes to Monaco, taking in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, Antibes, Nice and Villefranche-sur-Mer, and travel further afield by arrangement. Every intervention is documented in your client area.

Yacht repair and maintenance, port by port on the French Riviera

Yacht repair on the French Riviera is not carried out the same way from one port to the next. Access restrictions, delivery windows, lift availability and seasonal congestion all change how a job has to be prepared. That local knowledge, as much as technical skill, is what makes an announced deadline realistic.

In Antibes, Port Vauban concentrates much of the Mediterranean yachting industry. We are here daily, working alongside the berth for engine diagnostics, electrical and hydraulic repairs or breakdown response. Port Gallice and the Salis bay hold smaller craft, handled with the same method.

In Cannes, the Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto shift into exceptional configurations during the film festival and the Yachting Festival. A repair scheduled the day before a show is not prepared like one in February: access, timing and parts sourcing are adapted to the calendar rather than endured.

In Golfe-Juan, Port Camille Rayon has a technical area and lifting gear. It is the natural place for heavier overhauls, antifouling and shaft line inspection, when work afloat is no longer enough.

In Mandelieu-la-Napoule, the La Napoule and La Rague marinas sit alongside the Cannes Marina canals, where boats lie moored in front of the houses they belong to. Access is private, so every visit is arranged with a meeting point agreed in advance.

In Nice, Port Lympia imposes the logistics of a city-centre harbour. Parts are ordered and received before we travel, tooling is chosen for what can realistically reach the berth, and visits are scheduled outside the busiest hours.

In Villefranche-sur-Mer, many vessels lie at anchor rather than alongside. A repair on a vessel at anchor is prepared differently: equipment taken out in a single run and tasks grouped to avoid shuttling back and forth.

In Monaco, Port Hercule and Fontvieille apply the Principality's own access and identification rules. Prior notification, coordination with the harbour office and the crew, timing aligned with workable windows — that administrative discipline is part of the service.

Our presence is daily between Cannes and Monaco. Beyond that, from Toulon to Sanremo by way of Saint-Tropez, Saint-Raphael and Menton, work is scheduled in advance and grouped to keep travel costs down.
